Like a warm winter sweater, dimly lit indigo hues wraps itself around the 60-seat room while the smooth live Jazz invites guests in like a moth to a flame to enjoy the nourishing ambiance coupled with impeccable service topped off with a kaleidoscope of aromas spiraling out of the kitchen. A cozy jewel of a place; expect an upscale dining experience. Unlike the competition, it’s very attractive, intimate, and rather comfortable. Complimenting the hand painted rhinestone studded butterfly in the center of the room are various shades of blue butterflies with smoked glass wall scones with shiny chocolate hard wood floors complimented by matching tables and chairs.

Offering a panoramic view, the exclusive back corner fit for royalty inspires romance. The roomy cream leather booth has exquisite embroidered tapestry  that exudes class; simply accentuating the dazzling fiber optic lights suspended by black crushed velvet making it a very semi-secluded spot for networking, power meetings, and for setting the mood for perhaps a night-cap after indulging in an array of culinary foreplay of delicious entrees massaged with spices with a lot of added flavor. Demanding immediate consumption, the Chef blends savory staples; like moist pesto salmon with fresh collard greens that are well seasoned to a perfect palate pleasing delightful taste without the soul food kitchens favorite ‘pork’ topped with warm cornbread with a Caribbean flavored twist. Who said man can’t live by cornbread alone?

Emerging amongst the ocean of restaurants in Harlem, Butterfly Blue has reasonable size portions, exquisite ambiance, quality service, and affordable prices with an undeniable ‘I’ll be back’ kind of taste.
